How to use the PDF Splitter

Three PDF split modes

Specific Pages creates one PDF per selected page. Page Ranges creates a PDF for each start and end range. Split by Size divides the document into chunks containing a selected maximum number of pages.

Server processing and privacy

The PDF remains in your browser until you select Split PDF. It is then uploaded to the WebUtils server and processed in request memory without being written to the application database or permanent file storage.

What is the PDF file-size limit?

The splitter accepts one PDF up to 20 MB.

Can I create several custom page ranges?

Yes. Add multiple ranges, choose their start and end pages, and optionally assign custom filenames.

Is my PDF permanently stored?

No. The server processes it in request memory and does not write its contents to the application database or permanent file storage.
