WebUtils.io collects limited information for features you use and for service operation:

• An optional account stores your email, name, password hash or Google sign-in details, sessions, and favorites
• Newsletter signup stores your email, status, signup source, and timestamps
• Tool usage records include the tool ID, a session ID, timestamps, interaction counts, and your user ID when signed in
• Contact submissions include the name, email, subject, and message you provide
• Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and hosting logs may collect technical and usage information

Most WebUtils.io tools process the content you enter or select in your browser.

• PDF Merger uploads selected PDFs to a WebUtils server route when you start merging
• PDF Splitter uploads the selected PDF to a WebUtils server route when you start splitting
• Image Watermark uploads the selected image and optional logo when you apply the watermark
• These routes process file contents in request memory and do not write them to the application database or permanent file storage
• Some tools save settings or favorites in browser storage on your device

Information you submit is sent only when you choose these features:

• Contact form fields are sent to Formspree for delivery
• Google reCAPTCHA evaluates contact form submissions for abuse prevention
• Newsletter email addresses are stored by WebUtils and sent to Brevo when configured
• Contact details are used to respond to your inquiry and are not added to the newsletter without signup

WebUtils.io uses these providers for shipped features:

• Vercel: Hosting and Vercel Analytics
• Google: Google Analytics, optional Google sign-in, and reCAPTCHA
• Formspree: Contact form delivery
• Brevo: Newsletter contact management
• Resend: Transactional account email delivery
• CDN services: Delivery of some tool libraries and models

These providers process data under their own terms and may receive technical information such as IP addresses, device details, and request metadata.

WebUtils.io uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, usage records, analytics, and tool preferences:

• Authentication cookies keep optional account sessions active
• A first-party tool-session cookie groups tool usage for up to 24 hours
• Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers for analytics
• Google reCAPTCHA and other providers may set their own cookies
• Some tools use localStorage for settings, recent items, or favorites on your device

Retention depends on the feature and provider involved:

• Account, favorite, newsletter, and tool usage records are stored in the application database
• The current application code does not define an automatic deletion schedule for those records
• Uploaded file contents are not written to the application database or permanent file storage
• Connections use HTTPS, and credential passwords are stored as hashes
• Contact and provider data follow the retention policies of the services listed above

WebUtils.io is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of WebUtils.io after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
